PISTOL COURSES

CCW - WV, KY & OH + Basic Pistol Training

This course is designed for people looking to obtain and become competent CCW permit holders. Class will cover firearm nomenclature & safety, basic shooting fundamentals, concealed handgun selection and live fire qualification + State Laws.

Handgun I + Concealed Carry Tactics

This class is geared to familiarize the participant with their handgun and the principles of pistol fighting. This is the next class from CCW and much focus will be driven towards safety and marksmanship in real-life, lethal-force engagements.

Handgun II: Pistol Fighting

If you have to use your pistol in a self-defense situation - you better be good with it. This class is high-paced and focused on target acquisition, shooting on the move, reloads and malfuction clearing. Be prepared for a workout!

Advanced Handgun: Low Light Pistol Fighting

An intense, high-paced class, this prepares you for when most encounters occur: in the dark. This course will guide you through both hand-held and weapons mounted lights, staging in the classroom and finally in a live-shoot house.

NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home

This course is much more than a routine shooting course on the range. This course is a building block to additional advanced courses and is designed to maximize course lessons taught. Primarily classroom but reinforced lesson plan on the range. Prerequisites for this class exist.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home

In this course, you continue the building block of knowledge and skills, but this primarily focuses on shoot techniques & skills, identifying a target quickly and acquiring sigh picture and utilizing your surroundings and escape options. Prerequisites for this class exist.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Advanced Course

This is an advanced NRA structured course and is focused on core essentials of effective use of a handgun in a self-defense situation on the street and includes numerous shooting techniques including standing, prone, kneeling, shooting on the move and many others.  Prerequisites for this class exist.

Vehicle Based Armed Defense

Learn the basics, mindset, situational awareness and how to use your vehicle as a weapon, use it for cover and what is concealment. Some classroom; mainly field training learning how to protect yourself and your loved ones while in your vehicle.

Shotgun I: Intro

This is part one of a two part course; This class will introduce: weapon nomenclature, types of shotguns & operation, understanding pattern & ballistics and practical engagement of a shotgun in home defense.

Shotgun II: Tactical Shotgun Training

Many people use the shotgun as their primary defense weapon. This course will teach you the skills to utilize your shotgun under a variety of situations and duress. This class is an advanced shotgun fighting class; Pre-requisites exist to register.

Since many people use the shotgun as their home defense weapon, this class will train participants on the proper and safest way possible to clear a room with a shotgun and how to protect themselves & their families from an intruder in their home.

The AR-15 has become a popular home defense option; this course will provide you with nomenclature, disassembly, cleaning and reassembly, zeroing your sights, carry options and malfunction clearing in addition to deployment & use.

This class is just about fighting... learning how to deal with an aggressive attacker and utilizing your weapon to defend yourself when your life is danger. This is an active, get dirty, high-paced class that is not for the lighthearted. Prepare for a physical day.

This course is specifically designed for those who keep us safe during Sunday prayer service and church activities. This course will go over mindset and situational awareness, empty hand-to-hand fighting & grappling, disarmament and live fire shooting around obstacles and no-shoot situations.

Trauma Care for Violence or Shooting Sports

This trauma course is designed to familiarize yourself with immediate traumatic injury treatment, such as sustained in a gunfight or while hunting or at the range, or resulting from a mass casualty event such as a terrorist attack. This is not your basic First Aid course. Course option includes an IFAK.
