We welcome our guests to come and try a firearm before they purchase a firearm; if you're looking to conceal carry a gun, know what will work best for YOU. Come visit and rent from a large assortment of firearms. Experience shooting with a gun you don't personally own but are considering for purchase.

Gun Rental Policy

Edwards Training Center welcomes guests and participants to try new firearms, whether it before a class or training course, or prior to purchasing a new firearm, or to experience shooting a gun not readily available to a guest. However, the purpose of this Gun Rental Policy is to establish and outline the guidelines and requirements for renting of a firearm at ETC.

There is minimum criteria which must be met in order to rent a firearm; proof of the required criteria will be reviewed and validated by an ETC staff member or employee. If the guest cannot meet the criteria required to rent or use a firearm provided by ETC, the rental will be denied.

All fees associated with a firearm rental will be paid upfront at the range retail counter. Additionally, all guests must complete a Range Waiver & Liability Release Form prior to use of the range and rental of the firearm.

Range Attire

When shooting semi-automatic firearms, hot brass is ejected from your gun, if you are properly clothed the potential for hot brass touching your skin can be diminished. Here are some attire suggestions to be mindful of while on the range: wear a hat, avoid low-cut shirts or bring something to cover up. A long sleeved T-shirt or a light jacket is recommended. You should wear pants and close-toed shoes. Flip-flops or open toed shoes are not allowed.

Rental Firearm Inventory

ETC has a designated group of firearms that will be available as rental guns. Models will vary from time to time and guns may be added or withdrawn from the designated rental group of guns as needed. Ammunition used in the rental firearm MUST be purchased from ETC, which meets the ammunition requirements as outlined in the Gun Rental Policy Agreement. The rental guns are for use at ETC ONLY and are to be used in compliance with all Range Rules and Guidelines and safety procedures.

Maintenance of Rental Firearms

On a regular basis, rental guns will be cleaned and inspected for safety and proper functionality. However, ETC makes no warranties on any firearm and the guest assumes all risk in the use of the firearm.

Before and after every rental of a firearm, a ETC staff member will inspect the gun to make sure it is clear and unloaded before handling and providing it to a guest and will again check the firearm wen returned to the gun rental inventory.

Firearms that have been or used by a guest will be inspected bi-weekly to monthly, based on use. Cleaning and inspection will occur more often if

a particular rental firearm is experiencing a high rate of use
a guest or employee has indicated any potential problem or safety issue with a rental firearm

Gun Rental Packages

All packages include range fee, eye and ear protection, and a target. Price does not include tax or ammunition. We have a large selection of handgun and rifle rentals, a few revolvers and shotguns available for rent to shoot on our range. Eye and ear protection is required for anyone going on to the range.
