Vehicle based Armed Defense

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO TWELVE (12) Participants. Early registration is STRONGLY encouraged. There are prerequisites for this class: Participant must have successfully completed CCW & Basic Pistol Training and Handgun I.

Be armed and well prepared traveling in your vehicle daily.

Module 1: Basics, mindset and situational awareness. Learn the difference between using your vehicle for cover, concealment. Much of this portion will be classroom based.

Module 2: Shooting from a vehicle, drawing from a carry method, dealing with your seatbelts, passengers, rear seat, glove compartment or storage areas. Learn on how to use your firearm in your car compartment or if located in your trunk.

Module 3: Shooting through vehicle, shooting through glass, outside the vehicle, external steps to ensure your safety. You will be shooting through vehicle glass as well as through the vehicle and learn the difference between cover and concealment and the penetration power of handgun rounds.

This course is primarily geared towards your everyday carry weapon, however, you are welcome to bring a AR-15 or long rifle to incorporate into the training as well.

Equipment Required:

• Everyday carry gun with your carry rig (i.e., holster, mag carrier, etc.)
• Five (5) single stack magazines, 3 double stack magazines
• Cover garment (if you carry concealed on a daily basis)
• Min three-hundred fifty (350) handgun rounds (i.e., 9mm; .380, 10mm, .45 ACP); one-hundred fifty (150) rifle rounds (i.e., 5.56 or .223)
• Fifty (50) rnds of pistol self-defense ammunition
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Cap with brim (ballcap)
• Lunch, snacks, drinks - MUST BE CAPPED BOTTLE (recommend bottled water)
• Proper range attire (i.e., warm, layered clothes or sunscreen and/or bug spray)
• Additional ammunition can be purchased in retail store if necessary

Registration: $125.00/pp ($132.50 includes tax); A $25.00 non-refundable deposit can be made to reserve your space with the remaining due upon arrival and check-in day of class. Deadline to register for this course is Wednesday, July 18, 2018. *We do require a minimum number of students due to the curriculum of the course; if the minimum number of students isn't met, the course may be canceled or rescheduled.
